In October, we had a chance to return to the Haskell Building for another beautiful wedding. Shinell booked us just a few weeks before the wedding. Although we had never met in person, I was able to gather from our phone conversations that she was a sweet person that knew exactly what she wanted. Shinell and Lamar provided a digital copy of their wedding logo.
I provided a few mockups and we ended up with this fun strip.
For the prop selection, I had no special requests so I put together a prop box that was a mix of guests’ favorites and props that matched the couples wedding colors of mint green and light pink.
This was also the debut of our new gold backdrop with our open booth setup. Shinell also chose to upgrade her package to include paper folders for her guests. They were placed in a basket near the prop table and we handed them out to guests after they grabbed their photos.
As for details, gosh I have the craftiest brides so talking about the details is one of my favorite things to do.
The Banner: As soon as you walked in to the Haskell Building you were greeted by this awesome banner that let you know you were in the right place. The couple also had high boy tables spaced through out the atrium with pictures from the couple’s travels.
On one of the high boy tables, the couple had a unique guestbook station. In lieu of a traditional book, guests wrote messages on a Jenga puzzle piece.
The Flowers: Check out these pretty arrangements. I love the black and white striped ribbon. It was an unexpected detail that took my breath away.
Napkins: I loved their napkins. In addition to the cute phrase, it also added a pop of color and touch of whimsy to the table.
I have posted some of the details that I captured in the gallery along with the event photos.
I am so happy that Shinell and Lamar entrusted us with their memories.
