Last month, Jerome and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary!!!!! I remember last year pulling my hair out wanting to make sure that every detail was perfect.  There were lots of bride tears. Too many people wanting to rsvp late, vendor drama, and weather woes. But in the end it was all perfect. Our anniversary was on Easter this year.  We went to church, exchanged gifts, chatted about our future, and had dinner. It was great.

If I had to share anything to future brides to be I would say pick that one thing you want and make sure you work it into your budget. For me it was my venue. I had my wedding at the Jacksonville Downtown Library. I fell in love with the courtyard and the staircases. So much so that I did not even look at another venue. Trust me if you do not get that thing whether it is a dress, photographer, venue, etc you will regret it.

There were a few things on my list of wants that I did not get, and only one that I regret… not having a videographer. The day goes by so fast, and it would have been nice to have a video recording to capture all the details.
