When Sarah sent me the concepts for her wedding, I was so excited. Once I finally saw all the details in person, I was in awe. I spoke with one of the other vendors at the wedding and she said that Sarah did the majority of the work herself. I would have never guessed she was a DIY bride!
The couple were married at The Ribault Inn Club. The Ribault Club sits in Fort George. In addition to The Ribault Club being a rental spot for weddings and events it is also home to the Fort George Island Visitor Center. We finished our setup a few minutes early so I was able to take a few pictures and learn a little history too.
Sam and Sarah’s color palette was royal blue and green. The couple chose an elegant damask background with blue as the highlight.
There was no specific them or special request for props so we brought a mix of fan favorites and also incorporated the wedding palette for pops of color.
I posted on our Facebook page that we were on our way to the wedding, and to our surprise Brittani J from the Dance Shack shared that she choreographed their special dance. Brittani J is also my son’s ballroom dancing instructor. (If you have kids, the next session for Dancing “Like” the Stars will be coming up soon.). I knew from personal experience with Brittani that the couple were going to do great. I pried myself away from the booth to watch. They were awesome!
I had a great time with Sam, Sarah and their guests. I think my favorite memory and actually a Props! first is that Sarah was actually the first to get in the booth. Usually I have to hunt down my customers, but we were setup early and she “tested” it out before guests started to arrive.
Check out the photos in the gallery. I also included a few pictures from the venue. Enjoy.
