New Brides! This weekend was pretty epic. We attended the first bridal show of the season. The Premier Bride Show at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.  What a treat to meet so many enthusiastic brides! Some had their girls, some their moms, and a few had their boos with them.  We are so grateful for all that stopped by our booth.

We brought two of our booths out to the show, our new digital booth Drop, and our open booth Chloe.

We offer a variety of services, so if you are seriously interested in a photo booth for your next event… come see us.  We like to create experiences.

New Year New Site https://www.propsphotobooths.com/new-year-new-site/ Thu, 27 Dec 2018 23:02:36 +0000 http://www.propsphotobooths.com/?p=2193 2193 FSS Extravaganza https://www.propsphotobooths.com/fss-extravaganza/ Mon, 28 Aug 2017 19:33:34 +0000 http://www.propsphotobooths.com/?p=2097 I come from a corporate background. So it’s always awesome experience for me to work corporate events.  Photo booths are great for employee morale, and we would love to be part of your next event. Contact us and we can provide a custom proposal.

We had the pleasure of providing the booth for the FSS Family Extravaganza. Since the FSS would be having a picnic, we took inspiration from that to design the strip.  We incorporated kid friendly props and had custom props created for the event.

The event was held at Tailgate parking in addition to the booth the event had camera games, DJ Equipment with a karaoke competition and prizes for the guests.

Although the wind was not very kind we pushed through and had a successful event.

If you are interested in learning more or donating to  FSS, here is a some information about their organization.  Family Support Services of North Florida (FSSNF) is the lead agency for foster care, adoption and family preservation in Duval and Nassau counties. Roaring 20s Love: Asia and Anthony https://www.propsphotobooths.com/roaring-20s-love-asia-and-anthony/ Tue, 21 Feb 2017 16:12:52 +0000 http://www.propsphotobooths.com/?p=1949 Having a Gatsby or Roaring 20s event? Let Props! take it to the next level! I met Asia at one of the Bridal Shows last year. I always love when the couple goes with a theme. Anthony and Asia and went with a Roaring 20s/Great Gatsby theme for their wedding.

The reception was held at the Prime Osborn Convention Center, which was originally a railroad hub completed in the late 1800s. The inside of the building still has character that provided the perfect ambience for the reception.

We created the couple’s strip with inspiration from their save the date, and complimented it with our gold backdrop to compete the setup.

For the prop selection, we included a mix of Great Gatsby props and wedding/contemporary favorites that matched the couple’s wedding color scheme.

I love that the guests were dressed to the “nines” for the occasion.

We were able to get lots of great shots! Check out the gallery to see more!

Welcome to the Party Life: Celebrating 100+ Events https://www.propsphotobooths.com/welcome-to-the-party-life/ Wed, 15 Feb 2017 16:15:30 +0000 http://www.propsphotobooths.com/?p=1903 We’ve had the pleasure of working on a number of events with Party Life Productions owned by Miss Shanae Hall!

So I was so excited when she reached out to us about her own event!  Recently, Party Life celebrated 100+ Weddings and Events with close Family and Friends.  The company hosted a fabulous soiree at Suite Jacksonville, and used some of our favorite vendors Jessica Lea Photography, Soul Food Bistro, The Cake Pop Shop, Ten 23 Designs and Bake or Eat Treats.

Her invitation for the event was so gorgeous, and was created by Doctor Tees where fellow high school alumnus, Donnell Butler, III is the owner.

We took inspiration from the flyer and the Party Life branding to create the custom strip below.

We created custom signs for Miss Party Life for her guests to compliment our assortment of props.

We also designed a custom social media sign that we ordered from  InkMeBeautiful.

Are you having an event for your business?  Looking for a way to add entertainment and promote your brand?  Contact Props! to discuss how we can do both!

FSCJ Collegewide Events https://www.propsphotobooths.com/fscj-collegewide-events/ Mon, 13 Feb 2017 22:17:20 +0000 http://www.propsphotobooths.com/?p=1899 In 2016, we had the pleasure of linking up with the FSCJ Collegewide leadership team for three distinct events.

The Collegewide team has the most awesome job of creating engagement and providing advisement for the students at FSCJ.

The first event was the Collegewide Costume Party. It was held at the South campus. In addition to Props!, there was great food, DJ Corey B, and lots of cool games including Swinging Donuts.

The Second event was the Collegewide Fall Festival. It was held at the North campus. Students were able to bring their children and families to the event. In addition to Props, there was a magician, face painter, clown and carnival games.

The last 2016 event that we participated in was the Collegewide Holiday Party and Toy Drive at the Deerwood Campus. DJ Corey was there, and it was great to see the students party and donate to such a good cause.

Thank you Director Kerry Roth and your entire staff for choosing Props! We look forward to working with you again.

If your organization is interested in selecting Props! for one or multiple evens, contact us for a custom quote.

Old School 1976 https://www.propsphotobooths.com/old-school-1976/ Thu, 26 Jan 2017 03:11:43 +0000 http://www.propsphotobooths.com/?p=1846 We love when we get a chance to do birthday parties for grown ups.  It always takes a while for them to warm up to the booth.  What is it? Is it free? Maybe later. Ah heck, why not.  Once that first person gets in the booth… its over!!!IMG_2984

Clint P. had his 40th birthday party at the Deerwood Country Club. We created his strip using the logo created for his invitation and party favors for his guests.

img_0093

We went with our silver backdrop to compliment the strip and went with a mix of old school props and a few props celebrating the big 4-0.

IMG_3094

One of the coolest things about the party had to be the cake. It was created by one of the chefs at the country club. From what I understand everything on the cake was edible including the ice cubes.

The event was private, but hopefully you enjoyed the pictures of the crew having fun.

Camp Hope! Repairing Hearts and Restoring Hope https://www.propsphotobooths.com/camp-hope/ Mon, 23 Jan 2017 00:30:08 +0000 http://www.propsphotobooths.com/?p=1878

img_0026All of my customers are a joy, but one of my most rewarding experiences to date was my sponsorship for Camp Hope! Camp Hope is a one day grief camp sponsored by Hospice Satilla for children that have lost family members.

Camp Hope took place at the Georgia Lion’s Club Camp for the Blind in Waycross, Georgia.

It was our pleasure returning to Waycross. One of the staff members received a recommendation about Props from a previous bride.

For the strip, we went with this fun strip that incorporated the swamp, the camp logo, and the slogan for the camp, Repairing Hearts and Restoring Hope. We also created a 4 x 6 version of the strip as well.

For the Props! we had a blast pulling out our kid friendly props and bring our swamp inspired prop selection.

The gallery is private due to the nature of the event. However, here is a picture of Props Team Member Tia  and the Camp Hope Staffer Misty.

My heart was so full the entire day, but the biggest tug came at the end. One of the ittiest bitties who barely said a word or cracked a smile came up to Travis and I and gave us the biggest bear hugs.

Dr. Jabari Jones: Established 1976 https://www.propsphotobooths.com/dr-jabari-jones-established-1976/ Tue, 06 Dec 2016 22:37:58 +0000 http://www.propsphotobooths.com/?p=1848 img_1630

Dr. Jabari Jones had his 40th birthday party at the Candy Apple Café. This was my first time at the venue. I’ve been to Sweet Pete’s downstairs for candy but I had never seen the beauty of the third floor rental space.

Dr.Jones is one class act. When I saw his invitation box, I knew that his party was going to be nice, but once we started to set up, gosh the details were just breath taking. His planner Charles Dallas really outdid himself.

img_1599

I believe the good doctor has a thing for a good suit, because the birthday party was inspired by his love for Brooks Brothers suits. We used the party invitation, and the event colors as our inspiration for this masculine and sophisticated theme that blended well with the event décor and our sparkly silver backdrop topped off the event.

img_0221

For the props,we were asked to keep it simple. But that doesn’t mean that guests weren’t able to have fun. Our props that celebrated forty in a classy way were arranged beautifully in a chrome vase on top of high boy with a paisley patterned linen.

img_1603

We also had some knew help, meet Dee. This was Dee’s first but hopefully not last time helping with the booth. She was full of energy and kept the guests full of smiles.

Check out Jabari and the rest of his guests here

King and Queen: Tyrell & Cynthia https://www.propsphotobooths.com/king-and-queen-tyrell-cynthia/ Mon, 07 Nov 2016 14:05:18 +0000 http://www.propsphotobooths.com/?p=1829 image2

Cynthia and Tyrell made it official in a beautiful ceremony over the summer at the Sherwood Deerwood.

Cynthia found us online, but after meeting the bride I realized we were fifth grade classmates!

Her wedding planner Alexia of Simply Legendary Productions and I grew up in the same church!

Ok, back to the fun details!  The theme for the wedding was pink and gold.  We lifted our inspiration for the strip form the couple’s wedding invitations and the couple selected our sparkly gold backdrop to complement the strip.

image3

The prop selection was a mix of the wedding colors and some of our new fun props.
