My second wedding anniversary is coming up in the next month, and it made me think about my own wedding planning experience. One of the websites that I used for wedding planning was WeddingWire. So I thought it would be great to share some ways the tool can help you during your wedding planning journey.
- Create your wedding website – I used WeddingWire to create our wedding website. There were any options that I was able to coordinate with my wedding colors. You have the ability to add music and collect rsvps. Click here to see my site.
- Manage your guest list – Whether you type your list in the tool or do a bulk upload into the tool, WeddingWire allows you to add your guests, addresses, indicate if they are your guest or the groom’s guest and you can even decide if you want them on List A or B. This was very helpful as we cut our list and also received back RSVPS.
- Table Seating – Once you have your guest list entered into WeddingWire you can take advantage of the table seating tool. This was great, it only captures your confirmed guests and you can mimic the table layout at your venue.
- The Budget Tool – This was helpful with managing my budget. I was able to create my initial budget, and as I contracted vendors, I was able to enter the actual costs. I went slightly over my budget, but having this tool definitely kept me motivated to not go overboard for the big day.
- The Checklist – I did not have a formal wedding planner, so as a DIY bride having this checklist was awesome. I was able to make sure that I got things done, and it included things on the checklist that I had not even considered.
- The App!- I downloaded the app and it was very helpful as I received RSVPs on the go or needed to review my checklist.
- Finding a Vendor – This was helpful. I found my caterer after reading WeddingWire reviews and he also had a great deal. Many vendors such as Props! are available on WeddingWire and we also offer special deals if you find us on WeddingWire. Check out our WeddingWire special.
- Vendor Management- In addition to finding vendors, you can also house all of your contact info for all of your vendors in one place. This was very helpful to visualize all of the vendors we were working with, and also organized enough to provide to my day of coordinator.
- Read or Write a Review – One of the things that will happen once your wedding is over, is that you will receive an email from WeddingWire asking for reviews from your actual wedding date. This is a great time to be honest and praise your wonderful vendors and give honest feedback for the not so great ones. If you complete at least 3 reviews you have the chance to receive a gift.
- Props! Photo Booths – You know I had to include Props! on the list. Props! Photo Booths is a 2015 WeddingWire Couple’s Choice Award winner due to the reviews from our awesome brides.
If you have any questions about WeddingWire feel free to leave me a message and I’ll be happy to share. While you’re checking out WeddingWire check out our reviews. One of the things that I think you will notice as you read the reviews of my brides, is the level of detail and love I put into every wedding.
